A SHORT BACKSTORY
A movement stitched together by purpose, woven with creativity, and rooted in community.
About a decade ago, a single thread tugged at my heart: What if the humble art of sewing could mend more than fabric?
It began with a vision: standing in a classroom at Efutu M/A Basic School in Ghana, teaching children how to reattach a button or close a loose hem—small, simple skills that could spark confidence and dignity. But soon, that dream began to expand.

After completing Learning How to Learn through Coursera, I realized how much I could’ve benefited from deeper understanding and better study strategies as a student. I began to imagine school outreach programs that could empower young minds both practically and mentally.
Around the same time, a LifeBook course deepened my passion for intentional living. Since high school, I’ve prayed to discover and become all God created me to be. That longing—to walk in purpose and help others do the same—was becoming a mission. Volunteering in children’s ministry, attending field trips with my children, and seeing young hearts lit up with curiosity and confidence added layer upon layer to this growing vision.
When our family moved from Ottawa to Edmonton, I tried to bring a STEM club to our new city. But the barriers were high—and I sensed God whisper, “Why not build something of your own?” And so I did. In 2025, my husband and I launched our first Crafted Purpose Spring Camp, teaching kids about identity and calling through creative hands-on projects.
Today, Stitch In Time Int. is a growing movement that hosts seasonal Crafted Purpose Camps and monthly clubs that inspire children through creativity, STEM, apologetics, missions, and friendship. What began as a single prayer is now becoming a woven tapestry—where purpose is stitched, hope is threaded, and lives are transformed.
And the pattern is still unfolding. We dream of building a close-knit, hope-filled community that stretches across Canada and into Ghana—one faithful stitch at a time.
